Learning Materials for LPIC-1 Available in Japanese

Toronto, 08-16-2024 – Linux Professional Institute (LPI) announced today that Learning Materials for its first certification in the multi-level Linux professional certification program, LPIC-1, have been translated into Japanese. Because the LPIC-1 exams are also available in Japanese through LPI’s partner, Pearson VUE, people comfortable in the Japanese language can prepare for and achieve LPIC-1 certification entirely in that language.

Kenji Ito, Director of Communications of Linux Professional Institute in Japan says, « We are pleased to announce the release of the Japanese version of the LPIC-1 Learning Materials. As LPIC-1 is the most popular LPI certification in Japan, there is a great demand for this knowledge. These free Learning Materials will facilitate access to it for many people. »

LPIC-1 certification demonstrates a candidate’s proficiency in real world system administration. The objectives are tied to real-world job skills. The Learning Materials take learners through all topics of the official learning objectives. LPIC-1 is a strong foundation for a career using Linux.
