October 1 – 2, 2022
Linux Professional Institute (LPI) supports the Nasa International Space Apps Challenge 2022 in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.
While the Nasa International Space Apps Challenge 2022 is a worldwide gathering, Juan Ibarra, Partner Success Manager Lead at LPI, will be one of the mentors who will help locally the participants on each challenge.
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge (Space Apps) is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
Juan will highlight the importance of the FOSS approach. After all, even Ingenuity, the Mars helicopter, is an open source project!
The hackathon will begin Saturday, October 1 at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and end on Sunday, October 2 at 11:59 p.m. (local time).
