LPI participating to the OSPOs for Good conference at the United Nations Headquarters

OSPOs for Good is a high-level, invitation-only, two-day symposium at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Co-organized by the Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology and the United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology, in collaboration with partners OSPO++ and OpenForum Europe.

This event aims to institutionalize the open source movement and ethos into a novel cooperative infrastructure, fostering collaboration among government, academia, and industry for achieving societal impact together.

What LPI Offers

LPI is proud to be part of the Invitation Committee. With a vast network of partners worldwide, including excellent contacts in government and academia, LPI supports the UN by recommending stakeholders to be invited to the event.

Event Highlights

LPI as a member of the Invitation Committee. LPI supports the UN in spreading the word about OSPOs by inviting relevant individuals from the LPI network, including high-level officials from governments interested in creating OSPOs in their countries, and representatives from other organizations committed to open source and promoting OSPOs in their networks as well.
